Aviation students from Burpengary State Secondary College visited the Sunshine Coast Aero Club. The students were taken on an airside tour of the Sunshine Coast Airport, visited the Tower and experienced a ‘birds eye view’, of the new Bonza aircraft on the apron. The Sunshine Coast Aero Club simulator was taken for a flight by each student, the Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters were a highlight for the students, and a discussion with an airport corporate team member about the marketing and business elements of managing an airport rounded out the day.
