Today is the day of the Queensland Air Museum ‘The Sky is No Limit’ open day!

I’m feeling extra excited after the radio interview I just had with Sheridan on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) – Sunshine Coast Saturday Breakfast.

Talking about the importance of the work of the Queensland Air Museum in preserving and promoting aviation makes me super keen to start the day.

Today’s event has something for everyone, regardless of age, gender or background, however, there is a special theme to the day. As aviation currently remains a male dominated industry, today’s event aims to inspire young women by showcasing careers and opportunities that are available to all.

And …. the Royal Flying Doctor BE20 King Air simulator is going to be there, the F111 cockpit will be open, there will be a raffle with fabulous prizes, aviation stall holders, food and drinks.

The Air Museum has an amazing collection of aircraft and other historical aviation items. If you have some spare time and are interested in helping to share aviation, consider becoming a volunteer with the QAM 😎
